SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES & ORGANISATIONS

Supporting young people through mentorship, reflection, and confidence-building

I work with schools, colleges, universities, and organisations to support young people navigating education, careers, identity, and early adulthood.

Alongside confidence, reflection and personal development, mentoring can incorporate practical employability support, including CV development, applications, interview preparation and professional networking. These areas are explored within the wider mentoring journey, helping individuals connect greater self-awareness with practical action.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT

Why this work matters

Many young people today are navigating pressure, uncertainty, comparison, and self-doubt long before adulthood has properly begun. Confidence, identity, and emotional wellbeing increasingly shape how students engage with education, decisions, and their future.

Institutions play a vital role, and a thoughtful, emotionally aware external voice can complement that work powerfully.

I help students feel reassured that they don't have to have everything figured out, while equipping them with the confidence to make decisions that feel right for them.

WORKING WITH CONFIDENCE

Safety is central to my mentoring practice

Creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I'm working one-to-one with a young person or delivering mentoring and workshops within a school, university or organisation, professionalism, wellbeing and safeguarding are always my priority.

MHFA TRAINED

An emotionally aware approach

My approach is informed by Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, helping me create conversations and sessions that are supportive, emotionally aware, and psychologically safe.

While this work is not therapy or counselling, it offers students a thoughtful space to reflect, build self-awareness, and engage with challenges in a healthy way.

Young people deserve guidance that recognises the whole person.
